Job Description

The Knowledge Management (KM) Intern will support the combined KM teams by assisting with the team members’ day-to-day activities. The intern will also work on special projects as assigned by KM management. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Finalize and upload documents, and prepare materials for training classes and webinar
  • Develop and maintain training course supporting materials (eg: agendas, hand-outs, etc.)
  • Review and test eLearning content, courses, templates or tools
  • Ensure that documents use the latest templates; cover sheets,copyright data, etc.
  • Review, test, or fact-check training content
  • Provide production support for online help/user documentation
  • Facilitate webinar/meetings/training sessions as required
  • Assist KM management with day-to-day tasks
  • Support other KM initiatives on special projects as needed.

 

Qualifications

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and writing skills
  • Ability to work both independently and function as part of a team
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong organization skills and ability to multitask
  • Strong research skills
  • Knowledge of Programming languages a plus
  • Major or working toward a degree in Communication, Technical Communication, Instructional Design, Education or English preferred
  • Ability to travel between Medidata’s New York City and Edison, New Jersey offices as needed
