Job Description

DCI Group is seeking a driven individual to join its expanding global team in our Brussels location. The position of Account Executive is a mid-level role offering excellent opportunity for growth in a fast-paced, international environment.

As an integral part of each client team, the Account Executive offers strategic support based on a deep knowledge of EU workings, client issues and the DCI business model. Working directly with a Partner and head of the DCI International Practice, along with the DCI Washington-based team and extensive European network, the Account Executive will play a key role in ensuring exemplary communication and campaign development on a day-to-day basis.   

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Track key public policy issues and prepare reports for internal and client use.
  • Monitor key developments pertaining to issue sets and wider political and policy developments at the EU and Member State level
  • Provide research support and continually develop relevant research portfolios and issue expertise
  • Assist in proactively building political networks around key issues
  • Liaise with and monitor ongoing affairs with DCI’s network of partners across Europe
  • Author written work for publication
  • Oversee the work programme of junior staff members

Profile

  • Understanding of EU policymaking with a minimum 2 years of relevant experience in one of the EU institutions, or equivalent experience from the non-profit or private sector
  • Fluency in spoken English with excellent English and written skills
  • Fluency in a second European language
  • Campaign oriented with a personality focused on creativity, energy and enthusiasm for strategic problem-solving
  • Strong work ethic and experience of working as part of a team
  • Effective networking skills
  • Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Political campaign experience an advantage
  • Knowledge of energy or financial services sectors an advantage
  • Fluency in spoken English with excellent oral and written English skills
