Illustrators on the Fuel team contribute to some of the biggest and most innovative media projects online. Illustrators are responsible for meeting the creative vision, visual design, and contribute to asset production. They are asked to contribute in conceptualizing the overall style and direction of client initiatives. Illustrators should have an understanding of evolving technologies and how their work will be integrated into web and gaming platforms

Responsibilities

• Create 2D artwork in support of multiple areas of game and web asset creation
• Demonstrate expertise across a wide variety of traditional and digital art techniques
• Meet deadlines proficiently and quickly adapt to any changes in direction
• Ability to focus and be patient under tight deadlines
• Point of view on creative ideas and ability to contribute conceptual thinking and fresh design ideas
• Contribute and be vocal during creative discussions
• Work on multiple products with an ability to multitask
• Experiment with new tools and techniques to improve their own work
• Actively participate and offer creative solutions to both art and game design challenges
• Work closely with Lead Artist

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience creating artwork for rich interactive experiences for the web and other media
• Professional and Personal Portfolios required
• Proficient in Photoshop. Illustrator and Flash a big plus
• Enthusiasm, positive energy, and ability to maintain a sense of humor under pressure
• Must be reliable at all times
