Responsibilities:

• Full life-cycle software development of application or system components

• Follows and contributes to the teams agreed upon engineering practices (e.g. TDD, Refactoring, Continuous Integration, Pair Programming)

• Follows and contributes to the teams collaboration and project management practices (e.g. Scrums, Sprint Review presentations, Retrospectives )

• Collaborate with other team members to effectively use the teams configuration management and deployment tools

• Works closely with development team to identify and resolve issues

• Investigation and root cause analysis of software and system defects

• Decompose story features for testability and provide feedback to the story definition process

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in core Java development

   Agile Development 1 - 2 Years

   Software Skills J2EE 4 - 6 yrs

• 5+ years experience in object-oriented design and implementation

• Proficient with Spring Framework

• Experience with a developing distributed applications in Java

• Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies (TDD, JUnit, Mocking Frameworks, etc)

• Experience with messaging technologies including JMS

• Experience using SCM tools including Subversion

• Experience with a continuous build environment

• Experience working in an Agile development environment (Scrum, XP, etc)

• Highly collaborative team player interested in working on high performing teams

• Experience in a Linux/Unix environment Plus

• Experience with complex event processing engines (Esper, Streambase, etc)

• Experience with the Actor Model (Akka, Scala, etc)

• Experience with Map-Reduce
