  • Act as the primary point of contact for media inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Coordinate and manage media interviews, press conferences, and briefings, ensuring company representatives are well-prepared.

Reputation management and performance measurement:

  • Monitor and analyse media coverage, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
  • Address negative or inaccurate media coverage, working to protect and enhance AECOM’s reputation.
  • Ensure messaging aligns with AECOM’s values and long-term strategic goals.
  • Support the development and implementation of crisis communications plans.

Event and Campaign Support:

  • Support the planning and execution of media events, including project milestones, press tours, and industry conferences.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to integrate media relations activities into broader campaigns.

Support team processes:

  • Maintain and review the editorial calendar and engagement tracker.
  • Coordinating media training for internal spokespeople as necessary.
