AECOM is seeking a graduate Architecture Designer position in the Building & Places group based in Honolulu, HI.
This position is expected to begin in October 2024
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations.
- Preparing specifications, reports, and related data tables.
- Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups.
- Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required.
- Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may perform technical assignments of moderate complexity within approved schedules and budgets.
- May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating in an assigned project.
- May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have a bachelor's degree or higher in architecture or design from an accredited program.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in working in REVIT, AutoCAD, and Rhino.
- Preferred a minimum of three years of study
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates creativity, passion, and interest in architecture, planning, and design.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task work on multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and effectively meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Sketchup graphic software preferred.
