Job Description
We are seeking a visionary Global Category Sourcing Manager - Fleet to join our team in London, United Kingdom. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and implementation of our global mobility strategy, focusing on optimizing fleet operations, reducing costs, and achieving sustainability goals across our organization.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive global mobility strategy that aligns with our cost-saving initiatives and greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction goals
- Lead strategic sourcing projects for fleet and mobility on a global scale, working across geographical boundaries
- Analyze market trends, emerging technologies, and innovative mobility solutions to inform strategic decision-making
- Engage with key stakeholders across the organization to establish Strategic Sourcing as a trusted advisor
- Implement a robust supplier relationship management (SRM) model with strategic suppliers in the fleet and mobility sector
- Utilize data analytics to drive informed decision-making and identify areas for optimization
- Lead negotiations and contracting processes with existing and new suppliers, developing clear negotiation strategies
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of sourcing initiatives and supplier performance
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation of new strategies and realization of cost savings
- Leverage eProcurement technology to improve efficiency and compliance with procurement policies and processes
- Contribute to the development and capability enhancement of the Global Strategic Sourcing team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Category Management / Strategic Sourcing, with a focus on indirect procurement for fleet and mobility
- Proven track record in developing and implementing global sourcing strategies
- Extensive knowledge of the fleet and mobility industry, including emerging trends and technologies
- Strong understanding of financial models, legislation, and safety standards in fleet management
- Demonstrated ability to deliver significant cost savings through strategic sourcing initiatives
- Experience in stakeholder management and ability to influence at all levels of an organization
- Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting
- Advanced negotiation and contracting skills
- Proficiency in eProcurement technologies (e.g., Coupa Sourcing, PowerBI, Insight)
- Strong leadership and change management capabilities
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Experience in developing and presenting business cases to global leadership teams
- Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-cultural environment
- Proficiency in multiple languages is highly desirable
