Job Description
AECOM Tishman is hosting an exclusive, invitation-only hiring event in New York, NY on Feb 26th.
If you're a current college student majoring in a construction management or an engineering field, we'd love to hear from you!

The event kicks off the morning of Feb 26th with a presentation and networking opportunity where you can hear from AECOM staff about various projects, career paths, and the company itself. You’ll also have the chance to meet other students, recent graduates, and AECOM professionals.
Following the presentations, interviews will be conducted in our New York office. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for career opportunities starting immediately and in Summer 2025.

Intern Position Overview:
This internship opportunity is designed to provide practical experience and professional development in the construction industry. The program aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world application, preparing interns for future careers in construction management. This position will be based in New York, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in a comprehensive internship program that transitions classroom learning to practical, on-site construction experience. This program is structured to develop essential skills and competencies required for success in the construction industry.
- Engage in various aspects of construction management, gaining exposure to different roles and responsibilities within the field. This multifaceted approach will provide a thorough understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Assist in day-to-day operations on construction sites, including but not limited to project coordination, document management, and site inspections.
- Collaborate with experienced professionals, learning from their expertise and gaining insights into industry standards and practices.
- Contribute to project-related tasks, applying theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios and developing problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar field with the intent to continue after the internship, unless graduating.
- Candidates must have completed 1 year of study in their program.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working for a large general contractor.
- Previous relevant internship experience.
- Exposure to other construction-based computer programs.
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, and Outlook), as well as exposure to other construction-based computer programs.

- Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
