    Job Description

    Our Wholesale team is responsible for the end-to-end success of our wholesale relationships including partnerships with ASOS, NEXT, Zalora, Zalando, Boozt, and About You.  The Associate Wholesale Account Representative manages all aspects of their sales accounts between wholesale partners and the A&F brands while leveraging internal partnerships to drive and maximize sales to benefit all parties. Wholesale Account Representatives must have an understanding of product and trends to make ‘brand positive’ product decisions and act as the ‘face’ of our brand to external partners.

    What will you be doing?

    • Presenting and selling product assortments to wholesale buyers

    • Main point of contact with wholesale buyers and internal merchants

    • Responsible for understanding the current product assortment and effectively showing it to the wholesale partner

    • Understanding of apparel retail and of global market trends, and how to apply this during interaction with the partner

    • Plan, execute, and deliver seasonal buys from the wholesale partner

    • Analyze partner sales and identify partner needs for additional product

    • Responsible for daily communication with wholesale account contacts including fielding of questions

    • Maintain clear and open communication with all relevant cross-functional teams

    What will you need to bring?

    • Basic understanding of retail product development timeline/calendar

    • Experience working well in a cross-functional team environment

    • Strong communication skills

    • Thrives in a “start-up” type business environment, susceptible to constant change and new process implementation

    • Motivated by business profitability and prospect of business growth

    • Organizational skills & ability to manage many simultaneous workstreams

    • Curiosity & eagerness to creatively solve problems

    • 2-3 years prior experience working in relevant industry roles

    • Bachelor’s Degree required

    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs – esp. Excel, Powerpoint, and Word

    • Desire to learn & hunger for more!
