Company Description
Store Operations & Customer Care is the global support center for store associates and customers for Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister brands worldwide. The team oversees all contact center experience and operations. The team is also responsible for communicating and training on new initiatives, providing strategic support to merchandise and omnichannel operations, dictating staffing and payroll guidance, and maintaining store technology. In addition, the team coordinates with corporate partners on opportunities and challenges related to customer impacts and store operations.
The Assistant Analyst, New Stores supports the team with all planning phases of new store openings (NSO), remodels, relocations, closures, and special projects. This position is responsible for supporting project communications, calendar management, documentation updates, and survey analysis.
This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Support weekly operational design reviews through project tracking, data input, etc.
- Support all pre-turnover planning tasks & resource setup related to new store openings.
- Send communications to internal cross-functional partners related to all projects including calendar updates, date changes, and meeting agendas.
- Send and analyze all post-project surveys, documenting key take-aways, feedback, and challenges from field teams. Responsible for documenting and analyzing trends to hindsight areas of opportunity.
- Organize and maintain updates to process documents, team tools, and cross-functional resources.
- Support planning and organization of special projects – e.g. store relocations, closures, remodels, brand activations, pop-ups and franchise initiatives.
- Work with New Stores team, operations partners, and field teams on a daily basis.
- Position will have occasional travel requirements

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Thrives in fast-paced environments; can effectively meet multiple deadlines at the same time
- Bachelor’s degree required; at least two years of retail experience strongly preferred; or equivalent combination of skills/experience
