Job Description

As a Part-Time Customer Service Representative you will be responsible for servicing all inbound calls and providing superior customer service to both our agents and our customers. 


Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Provide timely and accurate information to customers and agents.
  • Provide quality customer service through telephone communication.
  • Responsible for telephone inquiries from customers and agents.
  • Interpret and apply concepts based on company policies and procedures.
  • Analyze billing screens.
  • Process endorsements and other correspondence.
  • Assist customers/agents with quoting existing policies.
  • Document all conversations/transactions appropriately.
  • Take accountability for requests received and follows up to ensure correction is made to resolve problem or complaints.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday 7AM-7PM to meet the needs of the department
  • Minimum of 1 year auto insurance or call center experience. 
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be able to effectively and clearly present information and answer questions in a wide variety of situations. 
  • Possess strong orientation to customer service.
  • Possess good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages and proportions.
  • Ability to process high volumes of work while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong technical aptitude in regards to software applications such as the Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Strong typing skills. 

Additional Information

Part-time employees will be shceduled to work and average of 29 hours per week

The business hours for the department are Monday-Friday 7Am-7PM and some Saturdays
