DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Full Stack Developer Subject Matter Expert (Cloud) (C#, .Net, SQL) is responsible for the creation of applications that take into consideration all aspects of application development architecture design including - performance, scalability, coding, caching, security, encryption, session state management, error logging and testing. The primary responsibilities will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product are essential.

The primary responsibilities and activities to be accomplished include:

• Development activities, to include code review, pull requests, and releases to environments in support of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Ongoing development for enhancements and versioning of CACTUS applications and features, to include development of high-quality code meeting current code development standards for the application
• Testing activities to include set up of automated testing activities
• Help Desk support for application end-users
• Ability to utilize a range of platforms to assist our clients in meeting their goals including C#, .Net and other object-oriented languages and frameworks, and their application to web-based software.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, including Agile methodologies
• Ability to collaborate and work with other developers and test effectively within SCRUM/Agile environment
• Assist and lead the development of project documentation including project plans, requirements documents, systems documentation, and training materials.
• Development and refinement of technical and end-user documentation as needed
• Comfortable with a high degree of independence, while working with the client to understand their needs.
• Must be a self-starter prepared to take responsibility for individual and team growth by suggesting training programs and staying current with rapidly changing technologies including mobile.
• Other duties (migration of legacy data, onboarding of other developers, participation in daily stand ups, etc.) as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related discipline, or equivalent related experience 
• SECRET Clearance
• At least five (5) years of experience with C#, NET, .Net Core and/or ASP.NET MVC frameworks
• At least five years’ experience with database development/design, including use of tools such as SQL Server, Oracle and proficiency writing SQL queries and stored procedures
• At least two (2) years experience developing with Angular 6+ Framework
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design patterns, including dependency injection and inversion of control
• Ability to resolve data logic issues and modify data analysis techniques, including experience with data quality and analysis procedures.
• Good understanding and hands on experience with Azure, .NET, and WebAPI
• Experience producing and consuming web APIs, including JSON and XML formats
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Microservices, RESTful web services and APIs
• Experience with data modeling, normalization, and SQL optimization
• Build and deployment knowledge to host .NET application on Azure using Visual Studio (2013/2015/2017), JIRA, Confluence and Bitbucket for source control
• Experience providing a rich UI/UX with HTML, CSS, and client-side frameworks such as jQuery, jQuery UI, ASP.NET AJAX, Angular, Angular Material among similar technologies
• Experience in developing in Azure Cloud and/or modifying existing applications
• Familiarity of developing within Azure’s cloud patterns and architecture
• Experience designing web sites that function flawlessly across multiple browsers
