Are you a leader in the digital and automation space? Can you transform and reinvent the way we operate our mining business?

As the Digital and Technology Manager for Alcoa Bauxite, you will build and implement best practice digital innovation capability at Alcoa and lead the cultural and technical transformation of the company.

You will play a key role in accelerating the development of digital mining initiatives and establishing world class agile development processes for these initiatives, with oversight from the Digital Steering Committee.

The ability to balance quantitative and qualitative inputs to lead business critical recommendations is essential. 

You will be an exceptional communicator, who is experienced working cross-functionally, presenting to senior level leadership levels and influencing different personalities and global perspectives.

You will have a robust track record for delivering creative results around complex and far-reaching digital innovation in a mining setting. We are looking for a visionary, high-energy, intellectually connected individual who can excel in a high demand environment.

We are looking for professional with working knowledge of at least two of the following topics: IoT, Connected Worker, Machine Learning, Cloud, Robotics, Augmented Reality, with solid experience in a multinational company, preferably with involvement in managing the complexity that goes with driving mining digital transformation from developing the delivery framework all the way to launching innovative ideas and scaling them in the business.

A bachelor degree is a requirement for this role and an MBA would be highly regarded.
