Job Description

The Solutions Manager will be responsible for supporting RPO and MSP solutions. This role will be accountable for evaluating opportunities and developing world-class workforce solutions for prospects.

The Solutions team will closely partner with Business Development (BD) to understand the goals of the customer as well as the opportunity scope and then align appropriately on win themes, strategy, and key messaging.

To formulate client solutions, the Solutions Manager will partner with BD and collaborate with the following internal teams: Operations, Finance, Global Business Solutions, and Risk.  To validate key elements of the solution, the team will also consult, as needed, with Implementation, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, and Market Analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with BD and Bids to evaluate opportunities and develop solutions that address and exceed the expectations of the client/prospect, while meeting the needs of the business to enable successful delivery
  • Build and lead the solutions to meet the current and future needs of all AGS regions
  • Partner with the internal functions to keep abreast of developments in Operations, Technology, Implementation, Risk, Analytics, Finance, Bids and Legal to ensure future competitive advantage and compliance
  • Keep up with legislative, design and industry best practices
  • Analyze bids and opportunities to determine viability, pursuit strategy and potential win themes
  •  For bids and/or other client pursuits, make recommendations on pursuit strategy, program design and collaborate with BD to gain sign off and support from ops and finance
  • Ensure solutions are designed according to strategy, value propositions and pricing – gained through alignment with BD, Ops and Finance
  • With BD, prepare and guide presentation teams during the pitch portion of the cycle to ensure the right content, messaging, and strategy for each presentation
  • Review and contribute to specific proposal/RFP response content (with written responses)  to ensure alignment with capability, pursuit strategy and key messaging
  • Participate in client discussions, meetings,  or pitches as may be needed
  • Create scope document and track the development and evolution of the pursuit (volume, service lines assumptions, solution, etc.) and ensure alignment among  BD, Finance, Ops and Leadership
  • As requested, / needed, participate in advance workshops, discovery sessions or discussions with clients, to assess needs, validate requirements and support business development to qualify opportunities

Qualifications

Overall Position Experience and Skills:

  • Experience in solution design and/or business development roles in the workforce management industry
  • Relevant delivery and operations experience within the staffing industry
  • Experience in supporting MSP and RPO solution design, team/resource modeling, and delivery approach
  • Knowledge of workforce technologies – VMS/ATS etc.
  • Track record of supporting solutions for complex, global, multi-service opportunities
  • Workforce consulting/advisory experience including sales strategy, assessment, and solution development a plus
