In your daily work you will handle the following tasks:
Autonomously initiate company-wide efforts and lead cross-domain projects in the Marketing and Advertising areas.
Support key technological decisions for the Marketing Area, co-determining the direction of its development.
Spot and exploit synergies between technical solutions used by teams inside the Marketing Area and within other areas.
Building technology partnerships with vendors and integrating externally built projects into the Allegro technology ecosystem.
Mentor for engineering teams, support and develop technical talents, foster a high-performance engineering culture and knowledge sharing.
Raise technological standards, code quality, and best practices across both the Marketing Area and the entire Allegro platform.
Be an advocate for the best development practices such as clean code, automation, reusability, modularity, design patterns and TDD.
We are looking for people who:
Excellent problem-solving mindset, with the ability to handle complex challenges effectively.
The ability to take a broad view of a problem while being able to focus on its key issues.
Expertise in designing and developing microservice architectures involving multiple teams and domains.
Experience with designing scalable cloud applications and distributed systems including high-volume & high-availability projects.
Have a knowledge of GCP or other public cloud environments like Azure or AWS.
Excellent communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical issues to non-tech stakeholders.
At least 10 years of professional experience in software development using JVM technologies.
Experience in internet marketing (ads, performance marketing) is a plus.
