Responsibilities:

• Involve in the testing activities for various initiatives/projects/products.

• Work closely with Development Teams and other cross-functional teams to drive quality through design and implementation.

·         Design and review test scenarios/cases/data.

·         Complete ownership of Automation execution/maintenance and ensuring that failures and tracked and addressed.

• Mentoring juniors team members on processes, innovative ways of testing, creating utilities needed for testing.

• Own the delivery of high quality product on schedule.

• Find innovative ways to solve the technical problems in testing.

• Must be involved in all technical discussions through SDLC and provide effective inputs, follow up to closure.

• Must be able to successfully trouble shoot complex issues, find RCA and devise a plan to avoid in future.

• Actively supporting and enforcing the company's software engineering QA processes and standards within the group.

• Effectively communicate with onshore/offshore stakeholders wrt planning, status, metrics and issues on a regular basis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•                     Bachelor of Engineering in computer science or related fields.

•                     Exposure in creating Automation framework (API, Functional, UI) using tools like Selenium Web Driver, Restassured, TestNG, AWS,Log4J.

•                     Experience to web based e-commerce testing and mobile testing would be an advantage.

•                     Hands-on experience in writing code in Core Java

•                     Conversant with devising test cases from Software Requirements Specification is a must.

•                     Experience in manual, automation testing and Performance/Security/WBT

•                     Knowledge of Application/Web Servers (including Apache/JBoss/Tomcat).

•                     Exposure to AWS or any other cloud services.

•                     Must have good experience with Linux/Unix OS.

•                     Working experience in any of relational database like Oracle, MySQL etc.

•                     Well experienced in the test case management tools like qTest, Jira, Test Link etc

•                     Exposure to different testing methodologies is essential.
