Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for sorting different types of metals using manual processes.

• Sorting different types of metal based on their characteristics
• Prepare the material to meet the quality criteria (e.g., aluminium cutting)
• Work with different types of machinery (forklift)
• Keep worksite clean
• Assist in the loading and unloading of customer vehicles
• Provide excellent customer service
• Attract the right type of metal to the metals brought by the customer
• Participate in shipping tasks
• Assist with torch cutting as needed 
• Perform all other related duties

Qualifications

• ON-SITE TRAINING
• Minimum 1 year experience as a laborer.
• Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment.
• Knowledge of metals (an asset).
• Comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (mask, plugs, helmets, gloves, etc.)

Work environment / Additional information

• Work schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm + Saturday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
• Full time, permanent position.
• Work inside and outside.
