Reporting to the Human Resources Director or to the Human Resources Business Partner, the person will work closely with the human resources team and may be required to support national human resources processes and initiatives. The person will act as a support to the human resources team for recruitment mandates, support to the advisory group and on various projects.

Responsibilities and tasks

  • Assisting in the full recruitment process, such as administrative follow-up of hiring files, background checks, onboarding and the creation of employee files.
  • Being the onsite point of contact for employees
  • Creating performance reports for the various human resources key performance indicators (recruitment, turnover rate, etc.).
  • Participating in the documentation of employee files related to disciplinary and other HR processes.
  • Ensuring that HR documents, corporate organization charts and annual calendars are updated and sent to managers.
  • Coordinating certain human resources processes such as the annual evaluation process, quarterly bonus, end of probation, etc.
  • Contributing to new HR initiatives and business-related projects.
  • Contributing to training coordination with the HR team to ensure delivery on sites.
  • Performing all other related tasks in support of the human resources team members.
  • Responding to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.
  • Liaise with other departments or functions as necessary (Payroll, Benefits, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant field; additional education in Human Resource Management will be a plus.
  •  Minimum of 2-years in an HR position.
  •  Intermediate knowledge of the Office suite (Visio, Excel, Word, Power Point).
  •  Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
  •  Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to handle confidential data with discretion.
  • Adept at meeting deadlines and be proactive.
  • Bilingual in Spanish considered an asset.
