Job Description
Under the authority of the inventory manager, the storekeeper will be responsible for the daily management of the store. He will be responsible for placing materials and equipment in the store, ensuring a balanced inventory, and communicating with the relevant individuals.
Ensure the maintenance and accuracy of the inventory.
Receive goods, code them, and direct them to the correct locations.
Maintain up-to-date documents and databases.
Enter data for work orders, requisitions, and material receipt.
Maintain order and cleanliness at all times.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in inventory management or warehouse management is a plus.
Experience: Previous experience in inventory management, inventory control, or warehouse management, preferably in an industrial setting.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and warehouse equipment (forklift certification is preferred).
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 22 kg) and work in an industrial environment.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
Health and Safety Knowledge: Understanding of relevant health and safety regulations in an industrial setting.
