Job Description
As Section Manager P&O Data, Onboarding & Engagement you will provide services as required and your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Participate in developing safety and health principles and embed them into P&O programmes and culture development.
- Oversee the scoping, planning, and delivery of the full range of P&O services within the assigned area, ensuring alignment with operational needs.
- Partner with area Project Managers to ensure effective contractor engagement and workforce integration
- Manage and execute contractors' onboarding and off-boarding timelines, ensuring alignment with SAP Ariba Contract and Purchase Order awards.
- Regularly assess the onboarding and offboarding processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
- Analyse P&O data to identify areas for improvement across the contractor P&O value chain and recommend actionable insights.
- Identify and lead continuous improvement projects within P&O to enhance service delivery and maintain a strategic partnership with contractor management.
- Refine employee relations processes by establishing clear communication channels and ensuring contractors are treated respectfully and professionally.
- Foster sound employee relations by providing continuous coaching, consulting, and counselling to relevant stakeholders.
- Implement and facilitate organisational effectiveness initiatives and transformation strategies, ensuring alignment with broader operational goals.
- Manage and approve budgetary expenditures within authorisation limits, ensuring adherence to financial controls.
This role is in the Contractor Performance Management (CPM) at a Band 6 level reporting to the Manager Contractor Performance.
Qualifications
- Grade 12
- Relevant B-Degree or B Tech (NQF7)
- Relevant Honors or 4-year Degree or B Tech (NQF8) is preferred
- SA Drivers Licence
Experience
- 6-8 years of relevant experience as a generalist in human resource management.
- Knowledge of contractor performance management systems and workflows.
- Familiarity with labour laws, contractor management policies, and transformation initiatives.
- Expertise in organisational structure and talent management frameworks.
- Experience and competence in SAP HR and MS Office.
- Experience in leading teams, including coordinating knowledge sharing across the P&O discipline, managing workload, and reviewing the work of others to ensure consistency with task requirements.
- An exceptionally reliable example of safety practices with a profound comprehension of the significance of safety.
- Proficiency in relevant data and information systems and software, such as SAP, Passport360, etc.
