Job Description

Do you want to use your technical skills to develop new logistic parcel handling solutions for our global market? Do you want to work in a department that has the responsibility to develop and design such solutions?

As our new System Manager, you will become a part of the experienced and open-minded Sales & System-team, dedicated to translating the customers' needs into the right solutions in close dialogue with customers, colleagues from other departments, and product specialists across the BEUMER Group organisation.

Over time, you will gradually be responsible for designing and configuring the systems to ensure that the parcel handling solution meets the technical performance requirements as well as our customers' business goals.

Key tasks and responsibilities
You will be involved in designing different logistics parcel handling systems based on flow data and performance requirements from the individual customers. The systems, we are working on, have a large variety in terms of size and complexity so you will need to have good analytical skills to transform the data supplied by the customer into complete system solutions.

During the day-to-day work on different projects in the Sales & System department, you will be working together with different internal departments as well as with colleagues in our group companies around the world. Enjoying collaborating in cross-organisational teams is therefore a key element in this role as it will be a major part of your daily work.

Being part of a global company, you can expect up to 30 travel days per year where you will work together with colleagues and customers across different time zones and cultures.

Qualifications
You have a solid technical knowledge from either education or experience, which you could have obtained by:

  • Having a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or any related field, to be able to understand the right level of technical knowledge within sortation solutions.
  • Having experience with conveyors, processing, automation or sortation systems is an advantage, but not a requirement, as we also prioritize personal engagement and motivation in the team.
  • Being a team player who is committed to creating the best solutions for customers by applying a dedicated mindset and your personal engagement.
  • Used to participate actively in meeting customers to present, evaluate, and cooperate to find the right technical solutions.
  • Having strong communication skills in English and basic understanding of cultural differences in order to communicate smoothly with project stakeholders at all organisational levels.
