As a Hotline Engineer in our Customer Diagnostics Center, you'll receive comprehensive training to deliver exceptional support to our global customers.
Welcome to our Hotline-department
Join our Aarhus office and become part of a dedicated team of 20 experts with over 350 years of combined experience, providing round-the-clock support to our customers worldwide. During your first 2-3 years, you'll undergo extensive training to become an independent support specialist for our global customers. Expect around 40 days of travel per year, with more travel initially as part of your training. To ensure the relevant areas are covered you will be highly involved in planning the training.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Technical support for our international customers, including training and counselling
- Troubleshooting via remote support
- Help customers correct errors and/or implement updates on-site
- Contribute to the further development of performance monitoring and data analysis in order to prevent errors
- Take care of Hotline-case reporting
Broad technical understanding and willingness to learn
You have a background in electrical engineering, possibly combined with a marine engineering education or similar. Ideally, you have experience in troubleshooting and rectifying errors on complex systems. Most importantly is your possession of broad technical knowledge and willingness to learn. Knowledge of Siemens PLC, Allen Bradley, Windows OS, Linux and SQL Databases will be an advantage, but if you lack any of it, we will be happy to teach you.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential. Proficiency in Danish is a plus.
You thrive in managing stakeholders and handling a varied, sometimes unpredictable day. Your high quality, attention to detail, thoroughness, and service-minded, independent approach define your work style.
