As Senior Electronic HW Engineer, you will be part of the new company to be set up this year and thus contribute to a globally networked team of +4300 colleagues operating in over 50 countries.

Job Description

As Senior Electronic HW Engineer you will contribute to the electrical design of systems and products for the Public Address business line, based on agreed design specifications, with strong focus on efficiency and reliability. 

Your contribution to something big

  • Under supervision of a System or HW architect perform (feasibility) studies, design electronical circuits for PA products, based on agreed design specifications 
  • Simulation and analysis of electrical designs (e.g. Thermal, tolerance analysis) 

  • Creation of all relevant Technical Product Documentation, eg specifications, schematics, study reports, test scripts , design descriptions 

  • Creation of Work Breakdown Structures, effort estimations & planning of own activities 

  • Commit to agreed plannings and do whatever is reasonable to meet these commitments  

  • Communicate clearly with customers, system architects, product managers, project managers, HW/SW developers, component suppliers and factory engineers  

  • Actively participate in eg design teams, projectteams 

  • Occasionally Team leader 

  • Perform work in line with the design processes and tools that have been agreed in the PA R&D department. 

 

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

  • Master / Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering supplemented with relevant training and experience in electronics 
  • Knowledge of EMC and high speed design 

  • > 5 years experience with Electronical design 

  • Speaks and writes English fluently 

  • Knowledge of Audio (equipment) is considered an advantage 

  • Analytical, creative and abstract thinker 

  • Good communicator with social skills and a positive attitude 

  • Drive for efficiency. Accurate and quality driven
