As Java Cloud Backend Developer, you will be part of the new company to be set up this year and thus contribute to a globally networked team of +4300 colleagues operating in over 50 countries.
Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and talented cloud developer helping us to build up our next-generation VSaaS system. You will be part of a high performing agile SW developing team, developing Bosch's next-generation of Cloud-Based Services software offering across web, tablet computers, and smart phones. Cloud-based Services will deliver solutions to our customers via online channels and smart connected devices.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop cloud-based software applications leveraging state-of-the-art web backend technologies and frameworks.
- Working as part of the high performing agile team using the latest tools for rapid development, continuous integration, and deployment.
- Actively participate in all phase of software development life cycle.
Qualifications
Education:
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Computer Engineering or related field.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of industry work experience in SW development and deployment of web applications.
- 3+ years of experience in the programming language: Java 11.
- Strong understanding of fundamental web service technologies and RESTful implementation standards (e.g. Spring MVC, Spring Security Oauth, Spring Boot, REST, JAX-RS (cxf), Apache Camel, JMS (ActiveMQ), JPA (EclipseLink), Immutables).
- Building sustainable and high quality code and knowing how to test it (e.g. Junit 5, Playwright, Mockito, Selenium, spotbugs).
- Strong understanding of SQL databases (MariaDB, Liquibase) and integration with frontend and backend applications.
- Demonstrated track record of development of production-quality software.
- Experience building and releasing applications using continuous integration and deployment infrastructure (e.g., Jenkins (with Job DSL and pipeline scripts), IntelliJ, Maven, git (GitLab), Splunk).
- Experience deploying and maintaining web applications on Amazon Web Services, Azure, Google Cloud.
- Experience with agile development processes and tools (SCRUM, Jira, Confluence, Arc42, UML (PlantUML).
- Strong problem solving skills and analytical bent of mind.
