Children’s Therapy Center is seeking a center-based Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing team! Our SLP will join our center-based team serving children from birth to 18, in our Tacoma location. Our preferred candidate is experienced working with children a variety of speech, language, social, feeding and/or cognitive abilities. (S)he will have a strong passion for helping children with special needs, and their families reach their full potential.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations using formal and informal assessment tools
• Develop and implement developmentally appropriate goals
• Maintain timely treatment records and progress reports
• Consistently assess progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Provide parent training and support as an integral part of the therapy program
• Participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary and collaborative team

Demonstrable experience and other qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university
• Dedicated to quality, with a willingness to learn and share
• Experience working with children with developmental delay or disability preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff and multi-disciplinary teams
• Must have or obtain a SLP license in the State of Washington, and have Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-SLP).
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
