Position Summary

As our QMAP extraordinaire, you'll be the guardian of smiles and wellness, ensuring our lovely residents receive top-notch care that aligns with our company's awesome mission and values. You'll be the eagle-eyed observer, spotting care needs before they even arise! Plus, you'll get to be the master of medications, wielding your knowledge like a wizard to keep our residents healthy and happy.
Your Exciting Daily Adventures
- Be the resident's personal care champion! Swoop in to assist with daily tasks, making sure everyone looks and feels their best.
- Transform into a bathing buddy, a dressing dynamo, and a laundry legend – all while paying attention to each resident's unique needs. (Capes optional, but encouraged!)
- Channel your inner detective to anticipate and identify resident care needs. No need for a magnifying glass, just your keen eye and caring heart!
- Become the family whisperer, responding to their needs with a smile and a can-do attitude.
- Keep the communication lines buzzing with your supervisor and peers. Be the town crier of resident issues!
- Don your safety goggles and become the guardian of resident well-being. No negative experience shall pass on your watch!
- Be the voice for those who can't speak up. Report any suspicion of abuse, neglect, or resource misappropriation faster than you can say "superhero"!
- Transform into a human notepad, monitoring and documenting resident conditions with the precision of a seasoned journalist.
- Become the medication maestro! Conduct the symphony of pills and potions with grace and accuracy.
- Be the Sherlock Holmes of medication concerns, alerting the RN/LPN of any mysteries that need solving.
- Channel your inner record-keeper and document like a pro. Remember, if it's not written down, it didn't happen!
- Embrace your inner organizer and keep those medication carts stocked and ready for action.
- Don your handyman hat and report necessary repairs or replacements. No leaky faucet is a match for you!
- Be the life of the party at monthly staff meetings, contributing ideas that'll knock everyone's socks off.
- Stay on your toes for any other exciting duties that come your way. Variety is the spice of life, after all!
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications & Experience
- Per the state of operation requirements, Medication certification; QMAP-A/L, Med Tech, Med Aide, Nurse Delegation
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
- High school or Equivalent (GED)
- One (1) year experience in some level of elder care preferred
- Proficient computer skills preferred
- Strong self-management and organization skills
- Strong multi-tasking abilities with the ability to handle competing deadlines, flexible and adaptable (open to change).
- Ability to effectively handle difficult and sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
- Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.
- Constant standing, walking, and grasping. Frequent stooping and reaching above shoulder heights, occasional sitting, crawling, kneeling, and squatting.
- May have exposure to blood borne pathogens, body excretions and communicable diseases possible.
- Possible exposure to household chemicals.
- Sits, stands, bends and moves intermittently during working hours.
- May be subject to frequent interruptions.
- Interacts with clients, family members and visitors frequently.
