Job Description

Salary Range: $180k – $215k (depending on experience)

Location: Remote (DC area is preferred)

Citizant’s VP of Federal Data Solutions is responsible for:

  • Overseeing all aspects of Citizant’s data solution offerings in the federal marketplace – including data strategy, enterprise data management, data governance, data literacy, advanced analytics, data privacy, data sharing, and other solution areas.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders across an agency to understand their data needs and ensure that data is being used effectively.
    • This involves working with program managers, IT leaders, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities to use data to improve operations and outcomes and comply with data privacy and transparency regulations.
  • Providing data leadership and guidance on data-related issues within federal agencies.
    • This involves staying up-to-date on emerging data trends, technologies, and legislation; communicating the value of data to agency leadership and stakeholders; and leading efforts to build a data-driven culture within the agency.
  • Maturing Citizant’s Data Practice and helping to explain the value contribution of data-related services in both quantitative and qualitative terms.
  • Partnering with Citizant’s CEO and CGO to establish and maintain relationships with Chief Data Officers and other senior data leaders across federal agencies.
  • Serveing as a senior solution leader/advisor to federal financial regulators or other agencies, as a part-time billable or non-billable resource, often working in tandem with Citizant’s CEO.
  • Developing account strategies for identifying and winning data-focused contracts and task orders within Core and Target accounts.
  • Leading the development of solution strategies for specific data-focused business opportunities and contributing as an executive author and reviewer of data-focused proposals.
  • Helping to identify, evaluate, and hire industry-leading data experts for current contracts and pipeline opportunities.
  • Leading Citizant’s Data Community of Practice (DCoP) to:
    • Develop and formalize proprietary data-related intellectual property.
    • Facilitate the sharing of knowledge among Citizant’s data professionals.
    • Raise the level of expertise in current and emerging data specialties.
    • Coordinate the contributions of the DCoP to RFI responses, proposals, white papers, blog posts, and other market-facing documents.
  • Participating in high-profile industry and government events in relevant federal data segments, for the purposes of advancing thought leadership, networking, knowledge sharing, serving as a subject matter expert on panels and presentations, and representing Citizant’s data strengths and capabilities to industry.

Qualifications

Required Skillset:

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in the following:

  • Data strategy
  • Enterprise Data Management
  • Data governance
  • Data literacy
  • Advanced Analytics
  • Data Privacy
  • Data Sharing

Experience/Education:

  • Must have 10 plus years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor of Science (in a technical or related field)

Clearance Requirement:

  • US Citizenship is required
