Job Description

We are seeking an IT Help Desk/ Desktop Support professional for a 6 month contract-to-hire (with the option to convert to a permanent role sooner).  This role will be located onsite/ in the office in Boulder, CO (no remote options as this will require the ability to provide onsite/desktop support).  

This role will be responsible for:  

  • Respond to customer requests for assistance with computer software/hardware.
  • Setting up accounts in Active Directory 
  • Manage tickets by priority to provide user resolution
  • Provide troubleshooting for software, installation of software.
  • Troubleshoot networking issues – LAN and Wireless
  • Operate company owned vehicles as required.
  • Troubleshoot network and voice-related issues, repair personal computer and peripheral equipment problems to the board, device or component levels as appropriate.
  • Receiving equipment and conducting inventory.
  • Trouble-shoot and repair personal computer and peripheral equipment problems to the board, device or component levels as appropriate.
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule (this is a Monday-Friday role)

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent plus 6 years or more related experience or a related 2-year technical degree and 4 years or more related experience.
  • Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Bachelor’s or Master’s, may substitute for two years of related experience. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must have a drivers license 
  • Intermediate knowledge of PC software and networking: classes and/or experience.
  • Intermediate understanding of Desktop/Laptop PC Hardware and components.
  • Intermediate to Advanced understanding of Windows 7 and 10 desktop operating systems.
  • Advanced understanding of Windows Office 365 Pro Plus suite.
  • Ability to support Apple iPhones.
  • Experience with Service Now or other trouble ticketing tools.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and coordinate simultaneous tasks/projects.
  • Ability to perform job functions with little direct supervision.

Additional Information

This contract-to-hire role will be onsite/in the office during normal business hours Monday-Friday (no remote options) in Broomfield, CO.  This role will pay between $24 per hour to $32 per hour.
