Job Summary:

Comoto’s HR Coordinator contributes to accomplishing the Talent Team’s mission by focusing on a never-ending dedication to attracting, developing, and retaining a superior workforce. The HR Coordinator provides a wide range of human resources assistance to their designated business unit through company-wide initiatives and the administration of processes and programs that provide a positive team member experience across the Comotosphere by operating with a high level of trust, thoughtful guidance, and a strong sense of community, with an emphasis on ensuring that all team members feel valued, respected, and well-supported.

This role will support our Retail Stores Team Members and will need to maintain a regular schedule of 8-hour days (plus lunch break) Monday through Friday starting at approximately 8:00 a.m. PST (11:00 a.m. EST).

**Depending on your location, the role will either be remote or hybrid. If you are located in the Las Vegas, NV, or Philadelphia, PA, areas, it will be a hybrid role of up to 3 days per week in the office.

 

Our Next HR Coordinator will be responsible for:

HR Support:

  • Be a go-to resource for day-to-day HR support for our retail team members, responding to inquiries with professionalism and care.

  • Manage essential HR processes like onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining team member records to keep everything running smoothly.

  • Keep our HR systems, including ADP Workforce Now, up to date with accurate information on time tracking, team member data, and more.

  • Administer the company’s workers’ compensation program and ensure compliance with all necessary requirements.

  • Track and maintain HR data, such as attendance and performance, ensuring it’s current, accurate, and easily accessible.

Team Member Relations:

  • Serve as a trusted contact for team members and managers on workplace policies and programs, ensuring everyone feels heard and respected.

  • Support managers in applying sound team member relations practices while maintaining a positive and collaborative work atmosphere.

  • Handle team member questions about policies, benefits, and workplace matters with sensitivity and confidentiality.

New Hire Onboarding:

  • Make the onboarding process seamless and welcoming, helping new team members transition into their roles with confidence.

  • Manage new hire paperwork and documentation, including I-9 completion and background checks, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Team Member Engagement & Event Planning:

  • Help strengthen our team culture by assisting with planning and executing morale-boosting events and team-building activities.

  • Support HR initiatives focused on team member engagement, recognition, and retention

Reporting:

  • Prepare and maintain HR reports using Microsoft Excel, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Assist with tracking and reporting HR metrics such as attendance, turnover, and other key performance indicators.

  • Analyze HR data and provide insights to management for decision-making.
