Job Description

Connectivity is looking for an energetic and analytical rock star to work with our strategic business partners in an effort to drive sales and increase revenue. This person will be tasked with the creation and execution of various unique tactics aimed at developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. In order to achieve this and build your book of business, the ideal candidate will have the ability to (and enjoy) attending client-facing dinners and meetings outside of normal business hours. 

Specifically…

  • Identify channel partner targets for successful engagements and initiate discussions to generate interest in Connectivity’s high value proposition 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with members of multiple departments within prospective client organizations
  • Interface frequently with Account Management team to ensure that the satisfaction of each partner is met and account development is maximized. Have the ability to create metrics around client feedback for constant improvement
  • Act as the subject matter expert and stay up-to-date on all product offerings for both Connectivity and prospective partners to maximize potential revenue driving capabilities
  • Maintain an active CRM pipeline of prospective partners and accounts, with the ability to present to senior leadership when asked 
  • Perform extensive market research and stay abreast of all past and future market trends and the players coinciding with those trends
  • Prepare analytical reports on Connectivity’s positioning within the market and how we can improve
  • Work closely with internal teams (marketing, sales, account management, product) to develop new partnership opportunities based on service development

Qualifications

  • EDUCATION: BA/BS preferred or equivalent experience
  • EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years experience in a strategic partnership, business development, channel development capacity
  • Ability to travel to meet current and prospective clients/partners as needed
  • A quick learner; always looking to develop their understanding of Connectivity’s product suite and how we can continue to improve our position
  • Communicate ideas/suggestions/propositions to internal stakeholders within multiple departments with the ability to construct an organized plan of action
  • Ability to write clear and concise reports in a timely manner
  • Utilize high performing and aggressive sales tactics if needed
  • Relationship-driven; the ability to establish and maintain strong personal and professional relationships and represent the Connectivity brand to the best of your ability
  • Forward thinker with the ability to creatively navigate and manage multiple tasks at once
  • Energetic and a great team player
