Job Description
Product Test and Design:
- Conduct EMC and electrical tests according to approved test plans, collect evidence of tests, report non-conformances and draft a test report according to documented procedures.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of international and OEM standards and requirements.
- Translate Test plan requirements, when required, into test setup requirements while adhering to OEM and international standards for test.
- Ensure that qualification tests are configured and performed in accordance with applicable requirement specifications.
- Work with the project teams in order to address issues at all stages of testing.
- Document all device performance observations before, during, and after testing, as required.
- Determine root cause for anomalies to discern between test setup related issues and product design related non-conformances.
- Objectively evaluate non-conformances and collect evidence so that the anomaly can be accurately articulated to the project teams.
- Assist project teams with finding solutions to non-conformances.
- Assist with development and review of EMC test plans.
Quality Assurance:
- Develop and maintain performance history program for all sub-disciplines.
- Administration of laboratory maintenance plan.
- Assist with procurement and assembly of test equipment.
- Assist with development/verification of new test methods.
- Develop test automation capability and keep cognizant of new and improved test methods.
- Create and/or maintain laboratory procedures.
- Document lessons learned from testing and developing, to share best practices and prevent recurrence of issues.
- Communicate and interface with other associates and EMC experts while sharing information and experiences.
- Interface with internal and external worldwide experts to remain cognizant of new and improved test methods.
- Perform self-evaluations of skills and keep current with technology, for continuous growth.
- Support department and corporate objectives and processes, such as continuous improvement, 5s, logistics, schedule tracking, incident reporting, and meeting deadlines.
Customer Satisfaction:
- Responsible for the professionalism and courtesy in the test lab when supporting the needs of testing for the product teams.
- Responsible for impartiality in testing and reporting.
- Responsible for timely, accurate and precise reporting of the data to the design teams.
- Participates in both internal and external audits as need

Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
- Proficient multitasking between multiple complex projects.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office software applications (Word & Excel).
- Proficient with Digital Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Power Supplies, Function / Arbitrary Waveform Generators.
- Experience with RF Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers / EMI Receivers.
- Minimum 2 years Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Testing
- Experience with EMC test system control software (e.g. TILE!)
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
