Job Description

 

  • Supports troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of production machines according to standard operating procedures and work instructions within assigned area in order to achieve product quality, ensure continuous assembly line operations
  • Monitors availability as well as control inventory and cost of spare parts to optimize production machine /  jigs / fixtures
  • Prepares production machines / jigs / fixtures prior to start-up of operations.
  • Stops the line in case of abnormal situation.
  • Makes the necessary controls on the equipment to ensure that quality is at standard level prior to turnover to production after repair.
  • Performs full diagnosis, including information from Autonomous Operator, during Jidoka (Quality Stop) and/or troubleshooting activities during production machine equipment breakdown.
  • Knowledgeable/Familiar with automation and different PLC Programming (Omron, Beckhoff, Siemens, etc)
  • Knowledgeable in most vision system used in manufacturing lines (Omron, Keyence, Cognex, etc)
  • Knowledgeable Electro Pneumatics Technology.
  • Can Formulates process flow, working instructions, visual aids, trouble shooting guides that serve as guidelines in the manufacturing of products.
  • Knowledgeable FMEA/RFMEA, CP and other relevant documents used in manufacturing lines.
  • Able to conducts qualifications of equipment’s, jigs, tooling and fixtures prior production release.
  • Able to analyze and implement corrective actions to improve processes, OEE, Labor Productivity.
  • Able to conduct Structured Problem Solving using 7 QC tools and Six Sigma 
  • Willing to render extend working hours to resolve issues 
  • Willing to work on Shifting Schedule, if needed
  • Knowledgeable in Total Productive Maintenance concept.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of any Engineering courses
  • With 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing set-up
  • With experience in production start-up. From start up to Ramp up.
  • With experience in managing technical personnel in a manufacturing set-up
