Job Description

  • Monitor security measures to ensure that the company assets are adequately protected;
  • Establish measures to control the safety risks, handling, transport, storage and disposal of hazardous substances;
  • Identify the risks and perform the necessary controls in relation to harmful physical agents;
  • Manage the test of emergency situations and identify the areas that need improvement;
  • Conduct investigations regarding to accidents and incidents in order to identify causes and failures to prevent recurrences;
  • Conduct workplace inspections to identify any unsafe conditions and potentially dangerous situations;
  • Identify and document environmental aspects, impactsand health and safety risks associated to the Job Description Qualifications activities, products and services and guide the management of appropriate actions to control these aspects, impacts and risks;
  • Maintain the documentation and procedures of the management system Experience requested regarding to environmental and safety standards and ensure the control of the documents according to the quality management procedures;
  • Ensure the effectiveness of the Plant's Waste Management mechanism;
  • Perform environmental activities with the objective of reducing environmental impacts and promoting policies, according to the standards established by the company;
  • Maintainand develop ESH policies and procedures as well asdevelop the ESH management system for continuous improvement;
  • Identify training needs on aspects of ESH;
  • Monitor thework practices of third parties who have been contracted to carry out site activities. Perform internal audits inorder to identify non conformities and create reports for dissemination of the results.

Qualifications

  • Technical in Occupational Safety;
  • Experience in Manufacturing Industry;
  • Experience with Risk Analysis and Determination of Preventive Actions;
  • Experience with Incident/Accident Investigation;
  • Interpretation of regulatory standards.
