Job Description

We are seeking a strategic leader to oversee engineering activities, manage budgets, and drive product development for our Business Unit Autonomous Mobility in North America. The Head of Product Development & Strategy will lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals, optimize costs, and align with global business objectives. This role involves managing technical teams, driving business development, conducting market analysis, and ensuring the successful execution of the regional roadmap.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Lead engineering activities across North America to ensure high-quality project execution.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and investments for development projects.
  • Develop and implement strategies for market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and customer acquisition.
  • Create and analyze business cases to support product and acquisition strategies.
  • Guide and develop engineering teams, fostering growth and technical expertise.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive product innovation.
  • Shape the regional roadmap and align it with global strategies.
  • Represent the organization at strategic events and industry tradeshows.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience, including 5+ years in Automotive Sales and Program Management.
  • Proven leadership experience with direct reports and cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in market analysis, business strategy, and managing customer relationships.
  • Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
