Job Description
We are seeking an experienced candidate to manage DIAKRIT Group’s monthly, quarterly and annual management and financial reporting. This new role will take charge of an international reporting environment spanning over several jurisdictions. To be considered for this position, we expect you to be able to work independently, have a strong eye for accuracy and experience from complying with the major accounting principles. You will work in close cooperation with our Chief Finance Officer and you will be part of a finance team of six.
As Head of Financial Reporting, you will:
- Prepare the monthly, quarterly and annual reports and manage the internal and external review for these documents;
- Create and maintain Financial calendar to inform parties of necessary deadline adherence for the following processes: financial close, BOD package and budget;
- Manage communications with external auditors on external financial statements and accounting issues to ensure auditor agreement with company decisions on accounting disclosures, and issues
- Create, implement and maintain comprehensive worldwide accounting policy documents to improve clarity and consistency.
Qualifications
- Master degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of experience from a similar position
- Experience in accounting and issue recognition (international is a plus)
- Experience in building complex financial models to evaluate various financial plans
- Advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills
- Experience from working in an international company
- Fluent in English & a Nordic language– both written and spoken
- CPA is a plus
- Knowledge in US GAAP is a plus
