Job Description

Position: Solutions Development Executive


Job Purpose:

As an acknowledged expert in consultative sales, this customer relationship management professional has a proven track record of superior client satisfaction and sales results.  Independently develops and manages a sales strategy to drive new consulting bookings and revenue for a given region, territory or set of accounts.  Exercises creativity and independent judgment in developing methods and techniques to take an opportunity through the full sales lifecycle, from identification to high value reference client.   Provides leadership and expertise to customers to enable their business transformations, frequently providing leading edge technology, business and industry acumen.  


The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of high performance in consulting, software or technology sales, with at least two years of experience selling Salesforce.com. This is a great opportunity to grow an existing Salesforce.com practice.


Responsibilities:

-    Develop and manage relationships within our top tier Corporate Sales segment

-    Manage fast sales cycles and present the value of our solutions to C-level executives

-    Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement in salesforce.com


Qualifications

Requirements:

-   Bachelor’s Degree

-   Salesforce.com Certification Highly Desirable

-   Ability to travel as required.

-   Consulting experience in CRM is required

-  10+  years of quota carrying software or technology sales experience with two years minimum selling Salesforce.com.

-    Consultative selling experience and relationships within Salesforce.com

-    Experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to the CIO, CEO and CFO levels.

-    Track record of success in carrying a quota of 1M at a minimum

-    Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions

-    Strong and demonstrated written, verbal and presentation skills

-    Experience managing and closing complex, value based, sales-cycles

-    Previous Sales Methodology training, CRM experience, and strong customer references preferred

-    Strong computer skills, including Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel

-    Bachelor or University Degree preferred

-    Bay Area preferred

 

Additional Information

The compensation will be a combination of salary and commission more heavily weighted towards commission.  Total comp shoud get to $250K.
