Job Description

We are in search of a Creative Director (Art) to join our latest AOR win for a national telecom company. You will lead brands, mentor associates, and manage the daily progress of a project from start to finish. You'll concept and art direct for TV, paid social and a variety of other deliverables. You'll be paired with a CD Copy, and work closely with a GCD team based in Chicago. You will report to a Group Creative Director.

Responsibilities:

Develop creative solutions and produce work across a variety of platforms and media including TV, retail, video, digital, OOH, radio, paid social, activations and more

Be a part of the creative process from brainstorming to the final product, ensuring quality and style meet both our standards, and our client's goals

Win a room over. Explain the creative work and your rationale behind it. Evoke excitement and passion with your recommendations

Cultivate relationships with internal account teams and clients

Manage teams of writers, art directors, and designers

Provide constructive feedback and nurture every good idea

Set a tone that is respectful, collaborative, and wildly creative. Grow and nurture the culture of your team

Be willing to jump in and work across all levels of the campaign

Collaborate and partner with cross-department teams (Producers, Designers, and Strategy account) to develop and create the final deliverables

Push the creative integrity of all campaigns and deliverables and steer teams' conceptual thinking

Maintain knowledge of each clients' products, marketing goals, and schedules, to create work

Productively involve yourself in the selection, planning, training, and any relevant HR matters

Identify opportunities to increase the depth and breadth of creative work performed for clients, both from an understanding of your client's business and needs, but also from a knowledge of the industry, innovation, and competitors. Recognize opportunities. Be creative. A lot can be done with any brief.

Realize the strategic direction and creative vision of the agency and take ownership of the delivery of your client's brand vision

Lead the creative team through regular work reviews, check-ins, goal planning, and training.

Mentor direct reports, creates a supportive culture, and encourages people to excel

Responsible for new business pitch, creative leadership and delivery

Ensure the best creative resource is allocated to the correct projects by partnering with Resource and Project Management

Demonstrate ability to creatively work and collaborate with senior clients and leadership

Qualifications

Agency experience working on 360 campaigns with an emphasis on retail, TV and paid social

7+ years' experience as an art director in an agency environment.

A portfolio featuring TV, retail and social media work examples

Experience managing

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $136,000 - $219,360 per year. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
