Job Description
Lead Specialist Strategic Initiatives and Visualization
- Location: Domino’s World Resource Center; 30 Frank Lloyd Wright Dr, Ann Arbor, MI 48105
- Hybrid work schedule. Onsite Tues-Thurs
- Compensation: $95-115K, plus 15% bonus
The Domino’s Pizza Supply Chain team in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Strategic Initiatives Lead Specialist that values data collection, problem solving, and has experience in SQL and Power BI.
The role will be responsible for supporting data collection, visualization, and analyzing new metrics for North American Supply Chain centers. This role requires an industrial engineering background, and someone who is proficient in SQL/Power BI. In addition, this position will be responsible for interpreting data and developing new strategies to improve performance cost, quality, and service. This role reports within the Continuous Improvement team but has a strong connection to senior leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
(40%) Provide Power BI reporting for deeper analysis of financials, productivity, and overall CI strategy. Including but not limited to Transportation, Procurement, Production, Warehousing, and Vendor compliance.
- Work with SCS Senior Leadership to support strategy deployment process within the centers
- Champion data collection and presentation to senior leadership
- Help provide visuals and summaries on major KPI’s
- Provide insights geared towards development of new metrics and strategies
(40%) Design and develop new tools within Power BI and Dominos data reporting systems
- Create new dashboards and analytics to simplify work streams across all key functions
- Put in place processes to adapt dashboards as needed based off key KPI’s
- Manage day to day questions/adjustments for the field
- Support training on new changes made
(20%) Communication, Performance Measurement and Systems
- Design and provide mechanism to track and report scorecard of KPI’s
- Build data connections to SSMS Data Warehouse where needed (API or other means)
- Supports the introduction of management processes to ensure sustainability
- Represent CI at Supply Chian Meetings to ensure standardization across sites
Qualifications
- Experience in SQL, Power BI, or another form of data collection/representation
- Experience with writing jobs to migrate data into the DataMart (API Connections, MoveIt)
- 5 plus years of business/operations leadership with an organization known for its best-in-class operations. Expertise across a broad spectrum of products, end markets, business cycles and manufacturing processes and disciplines. Food is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly assess and make clear recommendations for improvement. Excellent Project Management skills
- Strong financial skills especially around productivity and cost leverage.
- Well-developed team building and influencing skills, unquestioned integrity, and the experience, confidence and stature to work across multiple functions.
- Demonstrated broad and deep understanding of manufacturing and supply chain challenges that occur within multi-site distributed environments and related best-practice solutions.
- An undergraduate degree is required-preferably in engineering, manufacturing, or a related discipline.
- Strong communicator – facilitation, written and verbal
- Ability to travel to Canada.
- Travel requirements is up to 20%.
