Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team in Minneapolis. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our organization, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving team performance.

  • Assist in managing daily operations and supervise staff to ensure efficient workflow
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to implement company policies and procedures
  • Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of customer service
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Assist in creating staff schedules and managing payroll
  • Contribute to inventory management and stock control
  • Participate in budget planning and cost-saving initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations
  • Analyze sales data and implement strategies to improve performance
  • Assist in organizing and conducting team meetings and training sessions

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Outstanding time management and organizational capabilities
  • Customer service orientation with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve goals
  • Analytical skills to interpret sales data and implement performance improvement strategies
