Wage: $20.00/hour (The rate of pay and pay scale provided for this position are based on title and geographical location) Full range scale: $20.00-$22.30

Job Description
- Enrich and support the lives of our residents while maintaining a safe and healthy environment
- Follow all support plans to ensure that care is person centered, which includes helping individuals reach their goals and overcome behavioral challenges.
- Support levels could include but are not limited to: verbal assistance, partial and/or full physical assistance, and performing personal care tasks as needed, which may include dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
- Maintain cleanliness of the home and meal preparation
- Employees may need to handle and de-escalate inappropriate behavior from the individuals such as verbal and/or physical aggression
- Assist the individual(s) in the community such as appointments, shopping and personal outings, etc.
- Use public transportation on community outings (free of charge for support staff) – These outings can happen any time of the year, we cannot decline to assist the individual due to weather conditions- unless it is deemed a health and safety risk.
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years or older
- 1 year of previous caregiving experience required
