POSITION TITLE: Steamboat Operations & Logistics Coordinator
POSITION IDENTIFICATION:
Reports to: Director of Operations
- 32-40 hours a week

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the Director Of Operations, the Operations & Logistics Coordinator (“employee”) will perform duties associated with managing events, event staff and gear/logistics.
This position requires a self starting, autonomous professional that will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. The ideal candidate can multi-task several complex projects simultaneously while managing administrative functions that support day-to-day operations. The employee must be a detail oriented professional with strong business administration skills, a love of spreadsheets, record keeping and precise attention to details.
The ideal candidate will have a customer-oriented and team-focused approach. Many job functions can be accomplished remotely, allowing for flexibility in scheduling and work location. There will be times with rush deadlines, last-minute changes and a need to “roll up your sleeves” and get the job done.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The employee will perform duties including but not limited to:
Ops Coordinator - Manage and Coordinate events
- Interface and coordinate with EMS Unlimited staff and Event Directors assigned to events
- Coordinate with Scheduling to specify needs
- Write safety and Event Action plans and distribute instructions to staff working each event
- Manage and Coordinate day-of event operations (in person and/or remotely)
- Ensure the appropriate medical supplies & gear are arranged for each event
- Monitor event operations for safety
- Promote team building and staff recognition
- Ensure Customers are provided with quality service
- Ensure teams are compliant with company standards
- Encourage change and systems improvement
Ops Coordinators may be assigned collateral duties:
- Scheduling - support ops coordinators by filling open shifts
- Training - teach new staff Orientation & Standardization days
- Special Projects - assist with special projects as assigned
Logistics Coordinator - Manage and Coordinate logistics, medical supplies and gear
- Oversee, track, facilitate and document the supply chain of equipment, gear and supplies.
- Coordinate with all Operations Coordinators and the Director of Operations to ensure gear needs are being met for all events.
- Coordinate with Transport Base Lead and President to ensure all Ambulance supply needs are met
- Supervise orders and arrange inventory and stocking of raw materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs
- Restock equipment in the Hayden warehouse
- Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction on gear/supplies
- Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders etc.
- Optimize procedures and systems
- Work with budgeting and bookkeeping as needed in relation to gear and supplies

- Hourly pay, commensurate with experience and performance

Schedule Expectations:
- Publish/share EMS Unlimited work schedule with the Director of Operations, President and operations leadership team.
- Operations Coordinators will be expected to manage all components of events assigned to them.
- The Logistics Coordinator will be expected to manage all gear needs for all events.
- Customer & Staff emails and phone calls will be responded to promptly.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software
- High school diploma; BS/BA (preferred)
- Willing to complete EMT training by 2020 winter or obtain a WFR and maintain the certification(s) at EMS Unlimited expense.
- FEMA ICS training 100 or willingness to obtain
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
