Job Description
- Manage activities and scheduling of staff
- Prepare and execute personal goals
- Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed
- Interface with US Customs and other government agencies
- Ensure all clients are set up according to policy
- Possess a complete working knowledge of operational procedures
- Process entries and support operations where needed
- Ensure the company credit policy is followed
- Supervise department receivables and payables
- Ensure all key performance indicators and monitored and met
- Participate in Quality Business Reviews and manage exceptions
- Provide pricing to customers
- Participate in sales calls
- Drive continuous improvement through use of productivity tools
- Foster a culture of compliance at all times
- Work to create a positive, motivated staff
- Conduct performance evaluations and reviews with assistance from department manager
Qualifications
- US Custom's broker's license
- 3 years experience in the industry
- PC skills
- Ability to articulate clearly
- Ability to relate to clients, Customs and other government officials, suppliers and staff at all levels
- 1 year supervisory experience
- Interpersonal skills
- College degree preferred
