Job Description
The Data Centers Program Manager leads and manages short-term agile teams comprised of individuals from the discipline teams within the Data Centers group. These agile teams support Expeditors’ business excellence by implementing risk-based efforts such as data center testing, patching, and operational issue analysis and remediation. The Program Manager collaborates with Data Centers’ management and customers to identify needs, understand the solution, and develop solutions to reduce, mitigate, and eliminate risk to Expeditors’ operations. Working closely with the Data Centers Product Manager, the Program Manager ensures operational needs are addressed by the Data Centers roadmaps and value streams. The Program Manager has a deep understanding of logistics, compliance and the Data Centers domain.
- Collaborate and coordinate risk mitigation efforts with the IS Risk Management group, Data Centers’ Product Manager, Data Centers’ teams, and customers
- Lead the Disaster Recovery COP as part of the DR Program
- Ensures that Expeditors data centers perform regular disaster recovery tests in conjunction with a continual improvement process
- Working with the Data Centers Product Manager and Architects, ensures that the risk mitigation value streams are kept current
- Using Agile techniques and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), lead teams in the design, implementation, and support of Data Centers’ risk mitigation efforts
- Effectively communicate operational issues & recovery to customers and Expeditors’ management
- Develop and manage a Capacity Management program for Expeditors data centers
- Oversee and manage Data Centers’ compliance and governance responsibilities
- Oversee and manage Data Centers’ local business continuity plans
- Collaborate with the Data Centers leadership to ensure Data Center operations are supported and provide a positive customer experience
This position is on-site and will reside in the greater Seattle, WA. area at one of the following locations depending on availability. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Personal and professional alignment with Expeditors culture and ten critical success factors
- Proven experience as a logistics and technology oriented leader
- Strong leadership, management, communication and execution capabilities
- Experienced problem solver, strong collaborator and able to provide clarity around complex topics
- Experience with SOX audit and reporting activities
- Experience with DevSecOps, Lean, Agile and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Assertive personality, interpersonal, action and outcome driven leadership
- Ability to actively inspire, coach, mentor and motivate

Additional Information
Expected base salary: $90,000 to $165,000
