Job Description

The Culinary Operations Specialist plays a key role within the Research & Development team, supporting the creation, standardization, and maintenance of recipes and operational procedures across Eataly North America. This individual will collaborate cross-functionally with Vice President of Quick Service, Corporate Kitchen Manager, Product, and Store Teams to ensure culinary excellence, consistency, and cost-efficiency across all Quick Service (QSR), Pronto, and main restaurant brands.

Partner with the QSR VP and Corporate Kitchen Manager to create and maintain QSR and Pronto recipes across all Eataly North America locations.

  •  Contribute to cost-containment strategies through recipe optimization and ingredient management
  • Support the standardization and centralization of recipes.
  • Execute ingredient substitutions and updates in collaboration with the Corporate Product Team.
  • Track price changes and assess their impact on menu margins and store-level P&Ls.
  • Generate regular reports on product performance, waste, forecast accuracy, and margin analysis.
  • Communicate recipe changes, ingredient updates, and substitutions across stores and departments.
  • Monitor digital menus and coordinate with the R&D team to deliver actionable insights to stores.
  • Maintain and update recipe books and documentation for Eataly North America.
  • Oversee the creation of Nutrition Information labels for QSR and Pronto menus.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in culinary operations, hospitality, or food & beverage management
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and related Office programs; familiarity with recipe management systems a plus
  • A passion for Italian cuisine and culinary innovation

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

  • Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays  
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time 

The base pay range for this position is $65,000 - $70,000 per year.
