Job Description
Working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm.
This is a hybrid working position.
- To administer Eurofins Purchasing systems, namely COUPA and ServiceNow.
- Support internal customers with correct use of our purchasing system.
- Create & train new COUPA users (including approval flows). Proactively share knowledge and best practices with colleagues across the UK.
- Maintain system records and purchasing databases for accurate pricing and supplier data.
- To provide purchasing services to the UK Eurofins businesses as part of a centralised purchasing department.
- Receive and process purchase requisitions accurately and efficiently in line with company and departmental policy, processes, and procedures
- Obtain quotes, negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, escalating as appropriate.
- Field enquiries and requests from internal customers and external suppliers via email, ticketing system and phone.
- To be the face for the internal customer to manage all purchasing related activities for a defined scope of responsibility.
- Deliver savings and other value-in-use benefits to Eurofins.
- Manage the process for onboarding new suppliers to Eurofins in line with company policy and procedures.
Qualifications
- Would be beneficial to have experience using COUPA in a previous role.
- Proven experience of working in an administrative role within Purchasing.
- Good standard of Maths and English.
- Organised and able to multi-task.
- A customer focused approach to meet the business needs and align on priorities.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Analytical approach to problem solving.
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
- Team player who can work well under pressure.
- Possesses a ‘can-do attitude and has a passion to succeed.
- Good knowledge of purchasing systems and procedures.
- Computer literate
