Job Description

We are recruiting for an important role within our Global Fraud Risk team. The Manager will be an important member of the Second Line of Defence team driving and promoting the delivery of a fraud risk maturity program to stay ahead of evolving fraud threats. This will involve providing guidance to the First Line of Defence to identify fraud threats and implement proportionate controls to prevent fraud.

Fraud threats are evolving as criminals adapt their approaches following advances in technology. You will help ensure that Experian's Global Fraud Risk Management program responds across all traditional and digital channels.

You will work with all Global Departments to ensure that policies and guidelines implemented by the Second Line of Defence contribute to the business in protecting its assets from criminals.

You will work with a range of key stakeholders to ensure that they identify the threats their businesses are exposed to and any vulnerabilities in controls. This should lead to the appropriate prioritization of actions to better prevent fraud.

Qualifications

What you'll need to bring to the role & Experian

  • Evidence of involvement in complex fraud risk management programmes in a regulated environment, specifically UK.
  • Experience of traditional and digital fraud risks, including future trends with the industry.
  • Deliver and embed fraud risk management disciplines in the business.
  • Experience of building insight of regional fraud risks to guide appropriate management action to protect the business and its consumers.
  • Translate complex messages into meaningfulinsight.

Work that matters - What you'll be doing

  • Support the Group Head of Fraud Risk Management to design the Group's Global Fraud Risk Management strategy and governance framework to ensure they are embedded in our business practices; promote a culture of fraud risk management maturity to a global audience.
  • Lead the renewals of policies on how Experian manages the identification, evaluation and mitigation of fraud risks.
  • Partner with 1LoD fraud teams along with 2LoD Risk, Compliance and Security teams to provide a cohesive and comprehensive approach is adopted.
  • Allow Experian to improve safely by overseeing global business change plans and new product development, providing specialist advice on appropriate fraud identification and management across digital channels.
  • Perform Horizon scanning to identify potential and new fraud risks and to influence/inform future processes to keep our business safe.
  • Adopt a data led approach to fraud management and investigations to provide meaningful insight and direction.
