Job Description
As the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist - Sourcing, you will play a pivotal role in driving our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) recruiting strategy. In this role, you will focus on sourcing exceptional talent for Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Tech roles, ensuring our hiring pipeline reflects our commitment to diversity and inclusion. You’ll develop innovative sourcing strategies, build impactful talent attraction programs, and foster partnerships to elevate our recruiting outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of recruiting and sourcing experience with expertise in developing talent pipelines and leveraging diverse sourcing channels. Demonstrated experience with sourcing tools and strategies, project management, and relationship-building skills, and bring an innovative mindset with the ability to deliver measurable results in a fast-paced environment. Travel up to 20% is required.
Position location: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based in our Deerfield, IL Corporate Office (3 days required in office).
Salary: We are targeting a base salary of $80-100K with bonus opportunity. Relocation assistance is not being offered at this time.
What you will be doing:
- Candidate Engagement and Sourcing:
- Leverage advanced sourcing tools and techniques, including Boolean searches, to proactively identify and engage with diverse candidates.
- Review and prescreen candidates for alignment with key requisitions and talent strategies.
- Partnerships and Programs:
- Build and maintain relationships with diverse organizations, university programs, and strategic partnerships to enhance brand awareness and attract top talent.
- Guide and manage programs focused on recruiting interns, new graduates, and mid-level managers for specific organization divisions.
- Recruitment Strategy and Events:
- Research, organize, and participate in recruiting events, networking opportunities, community engagements, and panel discussions to build a robust and diverse talent pipeline.
- Adapt to market trends and competitive landscapes to differentiate our recruiting efforts and recommend best practices.
- Process Improvement and Reporting:
- Use market research and data-driven insights to inform sourcing strategies.
- Collaborate with hiring managers, recruiters, and stakeholders to align on business needs and deliver innovative hiring solutions.
- Continuously enhance recruiting processes to ensure inclusiveness and alignment with DEI goals.
- Measure the success of programs by evaluating their impact on recruiting outcomes and DEI objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of recruiting and sourcing experience, with a demonstrated ability to convert top candidates into hires.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining talent pipelines, especially with diverse sourcing channels.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% to other sites.
Skills & Experience
- Expertise in leveraging sourcing tools and strategies, including Boolean searches and recruiting software/applications.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities effectively.
- Exceptional relationship-building and networking skills with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- A commitment to continuous improvement, with a track record of driving and implementing process enhancements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Agency recruiting experience is a plus.
Additional Information
Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $70,000 USD - $110,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
