Job Description
JOB PROJECT SUMMARY
To develop a performance evaluation system based on factors/procedures for evaluating the performance of employees. This system is a key component of the workplace of the interaction between employees and their supervisors.
The primary goals of a performance evaluation systems is twofold: to ensure that employees are aware of the expectations the organization has of them, and to assess their activities and performance according to a pre-determined criteria/scale.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Review Goodwill-Suncoast, Inc, current Performance Evaluation System.
2. Research current trends for performance evaluation. Best practices. What works for employer such as Goodwill-Suncoast?
3. Conduct needs assessment surveys with internal users in order to ascertain the most suitable performance evaluation system.
4. Conduct needs assessments with similar and like external employers as to current evaluation systems used. Obtain feedback and pros/cons
5. Present findings to management along with a recommendation system with the “whys” for best suitable.
6. Potentially develop a complete performance evaluation system based on Agency’s recommendation. Provide directions and/or instructions, forms, etc. for targeted system.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
High school diploma required, with some college preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of two years college required.
