Get to Know the Team

Join Grab's Center of Excellence (COE) team, where we ensure that our drivers across Southeast Asia are paid. We work with finance, operations, and regional teams to enhance payment processes.

Get to Know the Role

As a Driver Pay Operations Associate, you'll oversee the entire driver payment process, from processing payments to resolving any disputes. You'll collaborate with multiple teams to enhance our payment systems. This position is crucial for maintaining payment accuracy and driver satisfaction.

You will report directly to the Manager, Driver Operations - Regional COE. This is a hybrid role requiring travel to our Ortigas office.

The Critical Tasks You will Perform

  • Oversee the payment process for drivers, ensuring payments are processed.
  • Manage and resolve any payment disputes or discrepancies raised by drivers swiftly and fairly.
  • Assess and suggest improvements to payment processes to boost efficiency, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders, including BPO vendors and regional operations teams, to ensure seamless payment operations.
  • Create regular reports on payment metrics and vendor performance, proposing applicable insights to improve driver satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Help set up and optimizing driver payment processes for new markets or regions within Southeast Asia.
  • Ensure all driver payment processes comply with local regulations and company policies, identifying and mitigating risks associated with payment operations.

Qualifications

The must-haves:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1+ year experience in managing processes, to maintain accuracy and minimize errors.
  • Experience managing and resolving disputes.
  • Knowledge of business scripting languages (SQL, Python, Power BI) for generating insights and enhancing payment processes.
