Get to Know the Team

The Strategy and Planning team at GrabFood is the collaborative hub for strategic analysis and impactful outcomes. We combine rigorous data analysis with strong cross-functional partnerships to drive the company’s strategic agenda. We are experienced analysts and who excel at transforming complex data into clear insights. We then work closely with teams across the organization, facilitating open communication and to ensure that these insights translate into concrete plans and tangible results.

Get to Know the Role 

As an Associate in the Strategy & Planning team for GrabFood Indonesia, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic initiatives and operational excellence for one of Indonesia's leading food delivery platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze market opportunities, optimize operations, and develop data-driven recommendations to accelerate GrabFood's growth in Indonesia. You'll reporting to Head of S&P and Eater Experience, GF ID. You will be based onsite in Grab Jakarta office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Identify and analyze business problems, develop solutions, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify key trends, patterns, and insights. Develop data-driven recommendations to improve business performance and drive growth
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress against strategic objectives. Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate performance and insights to stakeholders
  • Lead end-to-end execution of strategic special projects as assigned by the leadership team, from initial problem structuring through to implementation and monitoring, with guidance from your manager

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field
  • 2 or more years of experience in e-commerce/tech, strategy, consulting, or related fields
  • Proficiency in data analysis and business intelligence tools, working knowledge of SQL with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
